Obituary of Lorraine Diefenbaker

DIEFENBAKER, Lorraine Ruby peacefully at Lee Manor Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Friday, April 1, 2022. Lorraine Diefenbaker (nee Truax) of Stokes Bay in her 95th year. Beloved wife of the late Ernest Diefenbaker (1995). Cherished mother of Carol Hodgson and her husband Ralph, Edna Walsh and her husband Alan, John and his wife Denise, Lois Menzies and her husband Craig, Mary Stewart, Larry, Jean Leslie and her husband Mike and Shirley Kribs and her husband Gary. Much loved grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother of many.  Predeceased by parents Mary (nee Galloway) and Abraham Truax, son-in-law Don Stewart and 8 brothers and sisters.

The family would like to thank Lee Manor and the wonderful staff on 3 South for the excellent care given to Ruby during her time with them.

A funeral service will be conducted from Bethel Evangelical Missionary Church, Lion's Head on Tuesday, April 12th at 1:00 p.m. Interment at Eastnor Cemetery, Lion's Head. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.
