Marilyn will be missed by the Rush Cove Community. Marilyn (and Jack) have been a presence here for all of us since our arrival to the Cove. Some of us have known her for over 50 years; others for a shorter time. Her loss has certainly changed the face of the Cove and it feels like the end of an era for many of us.
A donation to B.P. Hospitals Foundation has been made, by the Rush Cove Community, in Marilyn's name.

To the family of Marilyn - we cannot remember when we first met Marilyn and Jack but it was certainly shortly after we bought our cottage at Rush Cove. Marilyn and Jack were "fixtures in the community - always there". Knowing that I loved sweets she was always ready to offer us coffee and squares or whatever she had just baked. She loved quilting and gave us baby quilts for our new granddaughters in 2011. She ALWAYS wanted to give us whatever kittens were in the yard knowing that I loved cats and in fact I brought a tiny kitten to my friend in 2020 which has become a much loved pet -- Marilyn always wanted to know how this kitty was doing! My last conversation was earlier this year when we talked about Rush Cove, my kids and grandkids and she always asked if I wanted rhubarb. And I did!! So Marilyn - thanks for the rhubarb, the sweets, the ever supply of updates about everyone, the snow mobile rides in the winter to the cottage, and most importantly your friendship over many years. Sincere condolences to the family.

I only only just met Grandma Marilyn a couple years ago, but over the past decade I have heard so many stories through Laura Lee that it feels as if I had known her forever. My sincere condolences to the entire family during this difficult time. May her memory live on through all of the wonderful stories that I am sure will be told for years to come.
