Obituary of Lois Shirley "Ginger" Schell

SCHELL, Lois Shirley 'Ginger' passed peacefully at Freeport Hospital, Kitchener on Friday, September 30, 2022. A heart felt thank you to the doctors and nursing staff at Freeport for their kindness and support with Ginger's palliative care.

Ginger Schell of Waterloo at Parkwood Suites, of Owen Sound at Seasons Retirement Communities and formerly of Red Bay in her 89th year.  Beloved wife of the late Jim Schell (2016). Cherished mother of Randy Brown of Owen Sound, Laura Brown of Waterloo and Darlene Tompkins of Brampton and their respected loved ones. Much loved grandmother of Rick Perry, Trevor Tompkins (Caitlin), Sheri Tompkins-Wastian (Danny), Christine, Kevin, and Eric Brown and great grandmother of Maisie, Zoey, Austin, Gemma, and Lily. Missed by many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by parents Nevada (nee Fischer) and Herbert McCullough, brothers Winston and Kenneth and sister Mavis.

Mom, Ganny & Ginger was the heart and soul of our family and a strong individual who loved unconditionally. She had a good sense of humour and a desire to live life to the fullest. She was the best mom, loved playing Bingo and watching her Blue Jays. We will find strength in our cherished memories.
