My condolences to the Robinson family whom I have had the pleasure of knowing over the years through the Community of Christ's fellowship. Calvon was one of those memorable people who helped shape my faith in a living God. He was always so faithful, attentive and generous in all his associations with everyone. I only heard of Calvon's passing this past week and wanted to let the Robinson family members know that Calvon and those who have also passed and are living today, are all so valued and instrumental in sharing the living presence of the Divine both in their communities and within the Community of Christ. It is with sincere joy that I am privileged to have known Calvon and to have experienced his life and love for all whom he met.

Sorry to read of Calvon's passing. I remember him helping me a "town-girl" when I wanted to join the 4H Dairy Club. I think I was in Grade 7 at the time. I went out to the Boat-Lake farm once a week and looked after "my" calf. My one and only showing at the Wiarton Fall Fair where I won for Showmanship! I will always remember the kindness and patience shown to me by Calvon, Betty and the entire Robinson family. Thank you for the memories.

We are so sorry to hear of Calvon’s passing. We will always be grateful for the many expressions of kindness Calvon extended to us. When we asked him to marry us in Johnson City NY, he travelled with Betty to perform the ceremony. We will always appreciate his support, his twinkling smile and hugs when we attended the Wiarton Community of Christ Church. He will be deeply missed. Our condolences to Betty and all of the family. Calvon will be greatly missed as will that twinkle in his eyes. We were fortunate to have him officiate at our wedding in 1973 and that was his first. We always talked about that including this summer and the summer of 2011 when this picture was taken. Thinking of all of you. Brenda and Robert Haskins

We send our sincere condolences to Betty, Linda, Eric, Debbie,Melody,Kim and families
Our families have been in the same circles all our lives. We both have fond memories of the dairy farms, camping trips to Killarney and Hanna Lake. My first memory at the BoatLake farm was Calvon helping a calf enter the world. I was probably around 8 years old. Tom’s favourite one was a day the family’s went swimming at the YMCA in winter time and then back to Robinson farm for Kentucky Fried chicken. It was a huge treat in those days!
We always looked up to Calvon as a pillar of strength and a representation of what is good in this world.
We are thankful to have spent time with Calvon and Betty in August of this year at our family baptism.
Tom and Linda Miller and family have made a donation to Larry and Darlene’s Agricultural Bursary in memory of Calvon.
