My memories of Beth go back many years to when we were young teenagers, enjoying the horses and all the good times we had at Lemckes. I was just a “summer friend” from Barrow Bay but our friendship went beyond the summers. There was quite a group of us who had many wonderful times at the Lemcke home, especially in Florrie’s kitchen., where a pie was always being baked, and helping out in the Limestone Inn restaurant. Di Martin, Les Pannizoli, Helen Sparrow,(Greig) and myself, among others, were all part of the Barrow Bay gang. We had many sleep overs at Beth’s, including an overnight horse camping trip to Rush Cove and sleeping under the stars. Parties at “deWolfe’s” on the West shore, and Sandy Beach parties were all part of it.
I was glad to be able to reconnect with Beth a few years ago when she came to one of our Barrow Bay picnics and brought Florrie along. Florrie had been like a second mother to all of us. It was a time of innocence when we all grew up in that era.
My condolences go out to Ken, Tina and Greg and all the grandchildren that Beth was so proud of. I was so glad that I was able to be at her memorial service last weekend when we happened to be at our cottage. Her beautiful smile and wonderful laugh were such a great memory to hold on to.
May she Rest In Peace and free from pain.

When we first met, I loved you right away, Beth. Both you and Ken. You were so kind towards me. We had lots of nice conversations that I cherish forever in my heart. Good times spent at Lions Head in Florrie and Ivan's kitchen!
I have missed spending time with you and I am so sad to hear you have left this life. We will see each other in the great beyond, eventually. And we can share more times together. Without pain, without sorrow. Until then, rest easy.
Please accept my Condolences. Ken, Tina, Greg and families, sending so much love your way!

Dear Ken and family, We are so saddened by the passing of Beth.
Ken - you were always there for Beth, she loved you so much! A memory I have is the time Beth had her knee operated on and she was recovering, you would bring her to our friends weekly Friday lunches. I can still see you pushing her in that wheelchair making sure she didn't miss out on those fun Fridays with her friends.
Greg - Your Mom and you had a special bond, she loved you very much and was so proud of you.
Tina - Your Mom would tell me you were a strong woman and a hard worker and that anything that needed to be done you would always jump in and help. She loved you so much.
To the Grandchildren - When Beth would talk about you, there was always a twinkle in her eyes and a smile on her face. Your Nana loved each and every one of you with all her heart.
Oct 22 I lost my beautiful, loving, caring friend.
Sis I love you and will miss you dearly,
Susan xo

So sad to hear of the loss of a special person to so many people in the person of Beth Haskins..I've known Ken and Beth since about 1967, so I know this is a sad loss for all of those that knew her..Carol and I wish to offer our deepest condolences to both families and friends at this sad time..She is and will always be sadly missed..I remember Beth as having that great sense of humor and was never one to mince words when expressing an opinion on a variety of subjects..To me that's what made her special.. She was her own person..Always called a spade a spade..She is gone from us now but only in physical form..Memories will always remain..May The Great Architect Of The Universe forever keep her in His stead...

Dear Ken, so very sorry to hear of Beth’s passing. I was shocked to say the least. Beth introduced me to horses & taught me how to first ride. We dressed as Sony & Cher at a high school concert & song “I got you babe”. Beth was Cher!
Cherish your memories. My deepest condolences to you all.

I am glad of the times we were able to see each other, and my children are thankful of being with you and Uncle Ken when dad and Betty brought them as little ones. I wish we would have had more time together, and never thought you would leave this earth so soon! I am happy for you, however, to be with the rest of your family, and now a guardian angel to the love ones you left behind, as you make preparations for their arrival. Give dad a big hug for me.
Deepest sympathy to Uncle Ken, Greg, Tina and families. Your heartache and loss if deeply felt. Love from Trina, Matt, Adrean and children ♥️

My family is deeply saddened and want to wish Uncle Ken, Greg,Tina and their families, our deepest condolences. We wish to extend condolences, also, to the Van Alst family for their loss of a life time neighbor and dear friend.
Aunt Beth had a laugh that could never be mistaken. It rang out across a room and you knew Aunt Beth was present. I, especially, will miss my Auntie as she made me always feel wanted and loved.
Always a great big hearty hug awaiting me. Playing cards at family reunions and most recently the sharing of wonderful memories of my father and Aunt Beth's relationship during their younger years.
Memories of watching the horses at Grandma's, being chased by Uncle Ken's crazy rooster at your home, your excitement when you moved to your home from the trailer and the occasional teasing are also kept close to my heart.
You shared such a sweet love story about you and Uncle Ken. A lifetime of being each other's soul mates. We could feel your love for each other, still. Everyone would wish for enduring love like this! You both were so lucky!!
Aunt Beth, I miss you so much, already. You are my namesake, I have always had that close in my heart and so proud of it. I often felt sneaky when I insisted people call me Beth. I still use this name, proudly.
Covid happened and dampened important family get togethers..I wish we had been able to have in person visits, but I cherish the calls and texts we shared. Rest in peace, Aunt Beth. I am sad you have left, but you are reunited with your family that you missed so terribly. We will meet, again! Love Tabetha, Leland, Brittney and Aanzhenii John.
