Obituary of Patricia Anne Shields

SHIELDS, Patricia Anne peacefully passed away at her residence on Wednesday, November 16, 2022.  Patricia Shields (nee Kloepfer) of Red Bay in her 81st year.  Beloved wife of the late Bob Shields (2006) and beloved friend and partner of the late Bob Jones (2020).  Cherished mother of Steve and his wife Terri of Elora, Nancy of Red Bay, Kelly of Combermere, Mark and his wife Penny of Maryhill and Leslie and her husband Dave Dynerowicz of West Montrose.  Much loved grandmother of Katy (Rob), Rob (Nicole), Melanie (Trevor), Olivia (Dalton), Joey (Taylor) and James and great grandmother of Owen, Sam, Quinn, Luke, Landon, Ella and Sofia.  Dear sister of Denny Kloepfer (Yvette) of Thunder Bay, Bill Kloepfer (Ellen) of Espanola and Mary Little of Kitchener.  Predeceased by parents Marguerite (nee May) and Herman Kloepfer and brother Donald Kloepfer.

Pat was known as a fun-loving, friendly, compassionate soul. She touched the lives of so many; sweet memories cling to her name.  She grew up in Breslau and lived there for many years raising her family with Bob.  She worked at the House of Friendship before retiring and moving to Red Bay.  She immersed herself in the Bruce Peninsula community by volunteering, joining local clubs and helping those in need.  She was extremely talented and enjoyed quilting, knitting, rug hooking, photography, cooking and gardening.  Pat loved spending time with her precious family, friends and her lovely pets. She was so dear to our hearts. We will miss her always.

Family and friends are invited to share memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Wednesday, November 23rd from 1:00 to 4:00 p.m. Interment will take place at St. Boniface Roman Catholic Cemetery, Maryhill on Friday, November 25th at 12:00 noon.
