Dear Farrow Family, ever since we can remember our parents Brenda and Wayne Shaw spoke highly of your beautiful Father. We also had the privilege of knowing him. Your Dad exuded kindness towards not only our Dad but our entire family. We learned today of his passing and all sighed in sadness that our world has lost another amazing human. We lost mum in October and can only hope that they all will all be reunited on their new spiritual journey. Your dad and ours knew each other most of their lives. Your dad spoke at our dads celebration of life and we felt proud that he and our parents loved each other as personal and work friends … FOREVER! Our sincere condolences to you all. Such a loss. Love is the only thing death cannot touch. With love and prayers Shari, Tyler and Shawna Shaw

It has been a few years since we were last in touch but Jimmy and I reflect fondly on times we visited your home and of course Jimmy remembers working with Carl and refers to him as a ‘real gentleman’.
Our sincere sympathy to the Farrow family at the loss of a beloved husband, brother, father, grandfather and great grandfather. We know your wonderful memories will provide support during the coming days, weeks and always.
All our best,
Vera and Jim Taylor

Dear Auntie Anne and Family,
My sincerest condolences at the loss of such a great man. There was always something about Uncle Carl that drew me to him.
It was his quiet presence and just overall charisma that I admired so much. I've held on to such great memories of spending time at the Farrow Farm for family reunions and spending time with the Farrow family at Sauble Beach. Uncle Carl you will be missed but never forgotten.
Regards,
Charlie Marcolin

Carl was one of the best people I have ever know, he was a good man, an honest friend and an asset to the world, I missed him when he moved north, and sadly lost touch, I was just thinking about a way to bring him up pastries for christmas this year ,when they were in Bolton I used to give them to Ann at the house but always smuggled an extra one to Carl.at the shop....that way we got to have time to discuss the past , present and future. Stories and knowledge I will never forget from a man I will forever miss and always remember.

Dear Diane and family. It is with great sadness when we found out of your father's passing. Keith and I are reflecting on the time that we spent with your dad a few years ago spending an enjoyable afternoon listening to some funny stories of days gone by. He was a great story teller and always had such a positive outlook on life! May the memories of your dad bring you comfort in this time of loss. Thinking of you all. Keith & Tania Butchart

We are so grateful that we got to see Carl so many times this past summer. Always had a big smile and as my sister has said, more like an uncle than a cousin. Anne you will be so sad to not have him by your side - it was obvious how much you loved each other. Diane - our heart goes out to you and the rest of your families. As Melody wrote, he was such a great storyteller and a real stalwart of the extended Farrow family. I always loved the fact we shared the same birthday (albeit different years!) Please accept our heartfelt condolences. He will be a man missed by many.

Uncle Carl will be deeply missed by all of his nieces and nephews. It was just 2 weeks ago at Seasons Retirement Home that he had a big grin on his face while he was telling us tales of Mom (Betty Robinson), his little sister, from their childhood days. We are holding all of you in our hearts as you make your way through this time of grieving.
Love from Melody Robinson and Mark Heathfield
