Scott and family- it’s been a few years but the memories are etched in as yesterday. I was immediately drawn to the photo you chose of ‘Ronnalee’ but admittedly it took a few moments to make the connection; partly as the full name was unknown to me, and then, the realization and sadness of Lee’s passing. Her wry humour, infectious laugh, frank and honest approach were what we all loved of her. To say nothing of her pleasant nature, friendship, garden mastery and champion in the kitchen. Her caponata and assorted baked goods were always a hit during ( the too many) happy hours up the road at Mallory Beach. The kindness you all showed to Dorothy and Bill and the welcome nature of your home to us all, is a memory forever. We are so sorry to hear of Lee’s passing. Our thoughts are with you. Irene and David Katzman, Chatham. (PS- I still grow beautiful little wild pink germanium’s, an offering from Lee all those years ago ❤️)
