What a world it would be if everyone was like Don. Then it could be called an utopia for sure. We bought our first new car from Don at the garage. Treasure your memories.

Marilyn, Debbie, Bruce, Brian, Kyle and family.
Very sad to hear of Don’s passing.
When Don and Dad worked together at the garage, they also became friends and we enjoyed many wonderful family times together.
We are going to miss Don’s sense of humour and also his fantastic laugh!
Attached is a picture of Al and Don from Don’s 90.
Sending many hugs, from our family to yours.
Penny (Cameron) Crawford and Doug, Teresa, Tracy, Mike and families.

Marilyn, Debbie, Bruce, Brian, Kyle and families. Don was the kindest person I think I have ever met. He always had the biggest smile when ever I saw him and he always surprised me each time and called me by my name. That always impressed me as not many of that generations could ever tell all us girls apart. Rest in Peace Don.

My sincere sympathies to Marilyn and all of the family. Don was such a great person, I always loved seeing him and Marilyn. I have attached a picture of a painting that Don did for my parents to give to Terry and I for our 25th anniversary. The picture does not do it justice, the painting was made to fit with the different layers of the rock that Mom had. Don then made the stand for it to sit on. A treasured memory every time I look at it.

Grandpa,
I could go on forever about all my favourite memories with you from spending hours in your garage watching you paint or build, feeding the fish in your pond, car rides looking for wildlife, playing euchre, and lately visiting with my two sons. I am forever blessed my children got to experience your love. I am so proud to be a Stewart and to come from this family you and Grandma created. We miss you and love you so much xoxo

Dear Marilyn and All the Stewart Family.
Please know you are in our Thoughts and Prayers.
Don was a very Special Friend. We so enjoyed our
many evenings playing cards and visiting with both Don and Marilyn. Don gave Gord a lot of advice on
woodworking. Don shared his life growing up on the farm, his sailing days and working at Krug Bros. in
Chesley.
We became friends when Don and Marilyn retired from
the garage. What’s so Amazing is his wood carvings
and paintings. He was just so very talented.
We sure will miss him like so many.
With Heartfelt Sympathy
Gord and Laura

Cousin Don was an admirable and engaging man. So very talented, and a lovely sense of humour. He was a great nephew to his Aunt Vera, our Mom, who used to walk the fields from Dyers Bay to Miller Lake to babysit Don and Murray when they were young lads. Was very glad to pay him a visit in August, and he kindly gave me a wonderful bird carving as a remembrance.
Our most sincere condolences to Marilyn and all the kids…with a big hug,
Brian Baetz and Dianne Cafik

Dad. Thanks for being the first man I loved. You were always there when I needed you. When I bought the tri-plex you were my handyman and reasonably priced [coffee and cookies]! I was the envy of a lot of girls with a dad as kind and loving as you. I over heard on a few occasions telling people you wish I could find a guy that was handy. Wish came true Dad and you don't have to worry about me. Love you forever.

Dear Marilyn and the entire Stewart Families:
So sorry for your loss!! It was always a great pleasure chatting with Don over the years!! Especially the ones which told him back in life living at Miller Lake.. During one of our talks.. about deer hunting discovered I was actually sitting where he once hunted back in Parson's Marsh!! Then after the seasons he would always ask about how the hunt went!!
My thoughts and prayers are with all of you at this time
take care God Bless

The memories I have with you always race through my mind, so even though I wasn't around all the time you were always present in my heart. Your presence filled a room and you are an inspiration, especially to your great grand daughter, Taliya, who has always looked up to your artistic talent and is now pursuing a career in art. Your sweet character and charming sense of humour will never be forgotten, I feel your charm flows through your great grand son, Tayshaun's, blood. It's still hard to fathom that you're gone but you will never be forgotten. You led a legacy of Stewart's and I'm proud that I got to call you my Grandpa.
