To Laura and Robyn, and all of Anniés family and friends;
With sad hearts we got the news of Annie, our kind, sweet, wise and gentle friend, has passed away. Me and my family's condolecenses to you all!
She was such a wonderful, much loved and well respected lady, and she will be greatly missed. God bless us all!
Annie, You lit up Dyer's Bay with your welcoming, great and funloving spirit
You were like a breath of kindness, wisdom, sunshine and peace, a beautiful Mother Figure of Dyer's Bay!
Your big and welcoming heart had room for us seasonal residents too.
You generously invited us in for a chat and a cup of tea, we could talk about just anything that we had on our heart and mind.
Your generous heart had room for everyone, and you always had some wise and interesting viewpoints.and perspectives.
You even made me a beautiful blanket when i was expecting my baby, thank you so much!
We will not forget you, The world is a much friendlier and more beautiful place because of you!

This is a tough one. Annie was a caring, funny and kind person. She was smart as can be. Annie always made me feel special. To me she was the best of the best. Forever in my heart.

Annie was a wonderful neighbour and a community treasure. Her graceful presence in Dyers Bay will always be fondly remembered and appreciated. She will be missed by our whole family. Condolences and best wishes to Lee, Allan, Laura, Robyn and the family.

Annie was my next door neighbour since 1988 and such a wonderful person, open hearted and the least judgmental person i ever met. She was deeply connected to the Bruce Peninsula and knew all of the local history and story’s. We loved having her as our neighbour. She was always home whenever we returned to the bay much like a Grandmother. We enjoyed to have her over for tea or coffee or meals and to hear her stories of when she ran the store in Dyers Bay, and we‘re eager to hear all the stories of the past
She was the anchor of Dyers Bay and her lights were shining in to the night in Dyers Bay every night. And she will keep shining a light in our hearts. We greatly miss her! Christian Nold & Reiner Gross.

Annie was my Great Aunt. I always looked forward to holiday dinners since I was very little. I loved her so much. She was very kind and loving. It's so sad knowing she's gone but I know she'll be watching many of us. My first teddy bear I remember was from her. "Annie Bear"

Annie and I have been good friends for close to eighty years; I am remembering our card club, and the women’s birthday club that we both belonged to. She was just a great lady, so smart, but also very humble. We have had many happy times together, and I was always glad when we could have a visit, our last being at her birthday party just a few years ago.
I send my deepest sympathy to Annie’s family.

We so enjoyed Annie and her wisdom, local knowledge and down to earth sense of humour. We enjoyed several winters of euchre with Annie in the group, and all things Dyers Bay. She was also a voice of reason!!! My folks Wilf and Barb Wallace and aunt Alma Wallace will be waiting for her with open arms to join the Dyers Bay party “upstairs”. Our deepest condolences
