Obituary of Thelma Castell

CASTELL Thelma Beryle peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton on Monday, April 10, 2023. Thelma Castell (nee Warwood) of Wiarton in her 91st year. Beloved wife of the late Richard Castell (2021) and the late Nelson Shelkey. Cherished mother of Eric Shelkey (Wendy) of Sooke, B.C., Kimberley Castell-Prime (David) of England, Michelle Castell of Owen Sound and Richard Castell of Hamilton and mother-in-law of Darla Shelkey of Hamilton and Christine Shelkey of Wiarton. Much loved grandmother of many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.  Dear sister of Charles Warwood (Jean) of Wiarton. Predeceased by sons Danial Shelkey and Brian Shelkey, parents Rhoda (nee Dyer) and William Warwood and brothers Bill Warwood and David Warwood (Lynda).

The funeral service will be conducted at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Tuesday, April 18th, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation 1 hour prior. Interment Oxenden Cemetery, Georgian Bluffs. Expressions of remembrance to the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints or the Wiarton Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.
