Obituary of George Garton

GARTON, George Stewart peacefully at Grey Bruce Health Services, Lion's Head on April 16, 2023 in his 78th year. Beloved husband of the late Betty Hooker-Vogan (2021).  Cherished father of Tim (Michelle) of Slocan, British Columbia. Loving grandfather of Charlie, Jocko, Shianne and George and great grandfather of Cecilia Marie. Foster father to Isabella Ilich. George was predeceased by his son George Jr., parents Olive (nee Smith) and George Garton, brother John Garton, his sisters Janet Fallis (Ron) and Florence Koch and brothers-in-laws Bob Leith and Clarence Sarvis. George is survived by Robert Garton (Louise) of Inverhaugh, Ron Garton (Mary Pat) of Guelph, Barb Leith of Mount Forest, Lorraine Bristow (Dennis) of Peterborough, Muriel Garton of Paisley, Reta Deverell (William) of Englehart, Brenda Sarvis of Mount Forest, Debbie Olliff (Herb) of Moorefield and Neil Koch of Listowel as well as many nieces and nephews.
