this was a shocker . what a wonderful life he had. I have so many great memories of our times together north of the checkerboard .

I missed my seasonal visit with Merv. When the weather was nice, Merv was always in his chair, monitoring the traffic. I would stop and have a visit. He usually knew what was going on. The mayor of Ferndale. A great guy to visit, and a great guy to work for. Sorry for your loss, Chris.
