Obituary of Hilda Balls

BALLS, Hilda Jean peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home, Wiarton early Thursday morning July 27, 2023.  Hilda Balls (nee Thompson) of Wiarton in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late Bill Balls (2010).  Cherished mother of Brenda Moore of Sault Ste. Marie and Paul and his wife Shelley of Owen Sound.  Much loved grandmother of Sherri Cerasuolo (Carmine) of Sault Ste. Marie, great grandmother of Jullian, Jaden, Joshua, Kirsten and Tyler and great great grandmother of Gabriel, Mackenzie, Isabel and Luca.  Fondly remembered by sister-in-law Patsy Thompson of Lion's Head as well as many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Jesse (nee Hepburn) and Edward Thompson, brothers Melvin (Mary Ellen), Lorne, Austin (Marjorie) and Leslie (Tina) and sisters Pearl Buckland (Lloyd), Alice Brady (Clayton), Cora Howe (Garney) and Wanda in infancy and grandson Michael Moore.
