I loved cousin Russ, he was so funny, kind, caring and crazy all wrapped up in one. He would always make me laugh. We had alot of fun together singing and he would play anything on his guitar. I will never forget the first time my late husband met Russ, lol he didn't know what hit him. Rest in peace sweet cousin. You can play and sing with family again.

One of my fondest memories of "Russie Bear" is that of Russ with his guitar in hand, tears in his eyes, and singing my favourite "Old Shep".

Cousin Russ could make me laugh harder than anyone else I knew. The last time I visited him, Jake jumped on the dining room table and Russ looks at him and says, ‘well, that’s new’. Aletha, I know that there are lots of memories of this great guy that will make you smile (including perhaps one of a quad and a winch). Oh Aletha, my heart goes out to you, all of your pets and your family. Russ was a cherished member of my childhood. Daily he brought me love and laughs. I blame him for my overwhelming love for animals. He will forever be missed but held close to us all in our hearts. I have so many great memories on how Russ has touched my life.
