Obituary of Eileen Whittaker

WHITTAKER, Olive Eileen peacefully at Southbridge Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Wednesday, October 18, 2023.  Eileen Whittaker (nee Cunningham) of Owen Sound and formerly of Lion's Head in her 96th year.  Beloved wife of the late George Whittaker.  Cherished mother of Keith Cunningham and his wife Linda Miller of Minden and step-mother of William Whittaker of Michigan.  Dear grandmother of Wenda, Wes and Jesse and great grandmother of many.  Dear step-mother-in-law of Joe Longbottom of Arizona and sister of Roger Cunningham of Pike Bay.  Predeceased by step-daughter Janet Longbottom, parents Olive (nee Rodgers) and Imri Cunningham, sisters Grace Hindman (Lorne), Ruby Jacques (Jack), Alma Anderson (Murray) and 1 brother in infancy.

Family and friends may call at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head on Monday, October 23rd from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.  The funeral service will be conducted from the Chapel on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
