Obituary of Yvonne Collins

COLLINS, Yvonne peacefully with family by her side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Tuesday, November 21, 2023.  Yvonne Collins (nee Fowlie) of Lion's Head and formerly of Wiarton in her 81st year.  Beloved wife of the late Ken Collins (2003).  Cherished mother of Donald and his wife Lisa of Wiarton, Debbie Collins of Stokes Bay, Steve and his wife Connie of Pike Bay and Angie Collins and her husband Travis Ralston of Mount Forest.  Much loved grandmother of Joey (Melissa), Justin (Rebecca), Sarah (Brent), Sasha (Joey), Curtis (Jordan), Courtney (Jason) and Amber (Nick) and great grandmother of 19.  Dear sister-in-law of Gary Collins (Marg), Bev Collins (Brenda) and Shirley Barfoot.  Missed by many nieces and nephews.  Predeceased by parents Mabel (nee Simmons) and Elgin Fowlie as well as many in-laws.

The funeral service will be conducted at the Bethel Missionary Church, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Saturday, November 25, 2023 at 1:00 p.m. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. prior to the service.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to Golden Dawn Nursing Home or the Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
