I am thinking of you, Karen and family, at your time of loss. Grant was a wonderful gentle man that l enjoyed knowing. Whether at the Gallery, or in his garden, l learned something from him as we talked. He will be greatly missed.

Our community seems smaller since Monday. Grant, in his own quiet way was such a large part of it. Many of us would stop as he worked in his front garden and ask advice … I have this tree it isn’t doing well, what can I do? Should I cut this branch off or leave it …
If you were lucky enough to go into the back yard to his beloved pond it was a marvel. Nature mattered to Grant. He worked with his hands using wood to create marquetry art treasures.
We will miss all the small details that made Grant a special person.
We will keep him in our hearts always.
