Jane I extend our condolences to Ron's family and to Bev Sawyer. We will miss his presence in our lives, his wise counsel on matters ranging from church finance to rugby, and his dry sense of humour. We are very privileged to have known him.

I send heartfelt condolences to Ron's family and to his loving partner Bev Sawyer.
Ron and I were best friends for 78 years, in England then in Canada. I visited him in LM shortly before he passed away. We hugged, knowing it was our final contact.

Please accept my deepest sympathies for your loss. My Dad Eric Spredbury and his brother John were Ron’s cousins and lived near to Ron’s family in Shepherds Bush London when they were all children. My Dad is sadly no longer alive but my uncle John has very happy childhood memories of Ron. We all also saw him when he came to the UK for visits. A lovely man - kind and friendly - we always looked forward to seeing him. Condolences to you all John, Mary & Joe Spredbury

Please accept my condolences on the loss of such a fine gentleman. My husband, Don Patton, ( deceased in 2022) and I met Ron in Ottawa through his excellent work with the Royal Commonwealth Society.
Ron and Grace were kind enough to invite us to visit them in Tobermory which we did on our first cross country RV trip.
It is such a beautiful place which we might not have seen had it not been for Ron ‘s encouragement. All the best to his family.

Our sincere condolences to the family and friends of Ron. His family members in England all have memories of this fine man. He was the eldest of 3 children of James and Violet and brother to Ann and Brian, both deceased. A long life well spent. Happy memories. Rest peacefully Ron from all your nephews and neices

Richard, Ross, and Lise-Ann, so sorry for your loss. It was an honour working with your Dad at Smith Nixon, then on the board of The Friends of Canterbury Cathedral in Canada, then helping him with The Royal Commonwealth Society of Canada. A kind, decent man!
