Obituary of Wayne Blacklock

BLACKLOCK, Wayne Earlby peacefully and surrounded by the love of family and friends at the Lion's Head Hospital on Wednesday, April 10, 2024.  Wayne Blacklock of Lion's Head in his 86th year.  Beloved husband and best friend of the late Heather Blacklock (nee Thomas).  Loving father of Cindy Clarke of Calgary, Alberta, Tammy McAllister (Chris) of Hamilton, Kim Hamilton (Rob) of Hamilton, Corinne Nichols (Bruce) of London and Leanne Kilby (Doug) of Thunder Bay.  Special grandfather of 13, great grandfather of 14 and great great grandfather of 4.  Dear brother of Willi Yurtis (Phil) of California and Arlene Ruttan of Wiarton.  Missed by many nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by parents Thelma (nee Walpole) and John Howard Blacklock, son-in-law Tom Clarke and sisters Marion Butchart (Carmen) and Myrna Gowanlock (George).

The funeral service will be conducted at Bethel Missionary Church, Lion's Head on Saturday, April 13, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to the Bethel Missionary Church or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
