My sincere condolences to Liz, Fred and families. It was always a treat to be with Irene. She had a wonderful sense of fun and joie de vivre. My sisters and I have always been “the girls” to her and she’s been a lifelong friend to our family. My parents often shared the stage with Irene in IODE plays; invariably, she’d steal the show! She will be greatly missed.

Irene was very kind, friendly and took an interest in you. I remember her in the store - always smiling and an eye contact hello - a sweet person. More recently, she and husband John Good, dropped over to see our new house and chat. It was an old fashioned visit, initiated by Irene, for which I was very grateful. God bless you Irene.
