Jason relocated to North Bay in 2019. He arrived as a hard working, soft spoken and dedicated individual. We each got to know Jason in our way - traveling around Northeastern Ontario with him and/or working in our facility around him. Though our time together was short, Jason left a lasting impression on all of us. We are all deeply saddened from the news of his passing. We would like to extend our deepest condolences to his family and loved ones.

Many of us had the privilege of working alongside Jason, whether in North Bay, Edmonton, Yellowknife, or during his various field assignments. His calm and reassuring presence, coupled with his quiet confidence and extensive knowledge, made him an exceptional colleague. Jason’s contributions to our work were significant, and his legacy will live on in the impact he made on our team and the environment he loved so dearly.
The memories shared by those who knew Jason paint a picture of a man who was not only skilled and dedicated but also kind-hearted, patient, and deeply admired. Whether it was his reliable presence, his subtle sense of humor, or his willingness to lend a hand, Jason left a lasting impression on all of us.

I had the honour of working with Jason in Yellowknife for many years. Jason was extremely reliable and always willing to help wherever needed. We shared many adventures in the North and I will always look back on them fondly. He had a great presence and we missed having him in the office. We would chat over the phone about when he might come back and always shared stories and laughs.
Our deepest sympathies to his loved ones and all who knew him. This has been a terrible shock and loss.
