Thank you so much for your kind words, Anne. I've heard so much about those Ottawa days over the years - I felt like I was there for so many of them! I'm going to miss mom like crazy but I am relieved to know she is free of dementia at last - she deserved to be at peace.

A wonderful memory that I have, is the year I went to Carabram, with Ann and Grandy (Ella). By the time we got to Grandy's house, we were slightly lubricated. Each of us had a bedroom..Grandy and I were yakking between our rooms. Once we started laughing, it DID NOT STOP. Finally Ann had to yell, "shut up!" Grandy always made me laugh. Hopefully, she'll make everyone laugh and there will be a lot....of music. Rest easy my friend - you always made me feel welcome. Xo

What a night that was! I think we lost mom at one of the bus stops - we had to hope she would find us at the next stop! Thank God she did LOL My mom loved you so much, Nancy. You shared a wonderful sense of humour and fun loving nature. I agree - wherever she is, there will be lots of laughing and lots of music. We sent her off with both at the service!
