Obituary of Martin Hogarth

HOGARTH, Martin Leigh, age 81 1/2 of Stokes Bay, formerly of London, Ont., peacefully surrounded by friends left us on Tuesday, September 10th, 2024 at his home.  He was predeceased by his mother Lenora and grandparents of London, Ont. He joined the Armed Forces Militia in 1962, the regular forces in 1964, completed his basic training in Portage Manitoba and in 1969 Airborne division in Edmonton.  Martin moved to Stokes Bay in 2001 and became involved in the community creating web pages for 6 Legions (Chatsworth, Owen Sound, Hepworth, Wiarton, Lion's Head and Tobermory), the Eastnor Horticultural Society, Tobermory United Church and LAAMB (Lutheran and Anglican Ministries of Bruce).  He was the treasurer for The Old School House Seniors for 11 years.  He will be fondly remembered by many.
