Obituary of Ginny Huehn

HUEHN, Virginia (Ginny) of Lion's Head in her 84th year passed peacefully surrounded by her family at Gateway Haven LTC on Sept 9, 2024.  Ginny was the cherished wife of the late Donald Huehn (2023) for 62 years.  Loving mother of Mike, Richard (Claire), Colleen (Judy), Connie and Brent (Terry).  She will be missed by 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.  Left to mourn are her siblings Lenny (Marlene), Doug (Shirley), Alice, Audrey, Gert and Barb and sister-in-law Fern.  Predeceased by her parents Lucille (nee Deimert) and Eugene Schwehr of Mildmay, brothers Lornie (Ann) and Jack and brothers-in-law Ronald, Fordy and Kenny.  She will be missed by Donny's extended family.

Our shining star left this world after a beautiful sunset surrounded by family.  Losing Dad, adjusting to Gateway and facing the progression of her illness, she remained strong for her family. We are so proud of Mom. Her fight is over. She is now reunited with her precious Donny. Rest in peace mom.

We would like to thank the ladies who cared for mom in her home and the incredible staff at Gateway Haven for the care they gave her while she resided there.
