Obituary of Bob Forbes

FORBES, Robert 'Bob' unexpectedly at his residence in Owen Sound on Monday, December 23, 2024.  Bob Forbes formerly of Tobermory in his 80th year.  Beloved husband of the late Carolyne Forbes (nee Durance).  Cherished father of Sean and his wife Tina of Mississauga, Dan and his wife Katie of Tobermory, Tara MacDonald and her husband Robert of Wiarton and Patrick and his wife Diana of Sarnia.  Much loved grandfather of Samantha, Ethan, Lauren, Kiera, Bryaire, Kearnyn, Hudsen, Davis and Gracie.  Dear brother of Marlene Timms (Ray) of Sarnia and Betty Swain (Tom) of Huntsville and brother-in-law of Cathy Houser, Brenda Durance, Doris Fleming (Harold) and Sue Durance.  Predeceased by parents Margaret (nee Byers) and Frederick Forbes and brothers-in-law John Durance, Jason Durance and Tom Durance

The funeral service will be conducted at the Tobermory United Church on Friday, May 2, 2025 at 10:00 a.m.  Interment at Dunk's Bay Cemetery, Tobermory.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Expressions of remembrance to Lion's Head Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
