Obituary of Bernice Drodge

DRODGE, Bernice peacefully with family members by her side at Golden Dawn Nursing Home, Lion's Head on Sunday evening January 12, 2025.  Bernice (nee Bridge) of Lion's Head in her 89th year.  Cherished mother of Gary and his wife Debra, Deborah and her husband Bert, Pamela and her husband Pat and Denise.  Loved grandmother of Cara (David), Jordan (Stephanie), Brendan (Jennifer), Courtney, Ashlyn, Alexandra, Bridget (Quinn), Shauna (Brett) and Parker and great grandmother of Savannah, Wesley, Wyatt, Aidan, Riley and Easton.  Dear sister of Allan Bridge (Barb), Kathleen Lougheed and Ruth Drodge.  Greatly missed by numerous nieces, nephews and friends.  Predeceased by parents Rebecca (nee Wardrop) and Wesley Bridge, sisters Neta Rydall (Jim), Dorothy Lyons (Ronny), Mildred Lobban (Jim), Francis, Allene Rydall (Orville), Clara Wakeman (Ransom), Betty Fosty (Bob) and Eleanor Fries, brothers Carman Bridge (Cathy) and Larry Bridge and grandson Christopher.

Private arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  A celebration of life and interment for family and friends to be held at a later date.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Expressions of remembrance to the Lion's Head Hospital c/o Bruce Peninsula Hospitals Foundation or Golden Dawn Nursing Home would be appreciated.  Messages of condolence may be sent to the family through www.georgefuneralhome.com
