Obituary of Reta McLay

 McLAY, Retaof Newmarket passed away with family by her side at Southlake Regional Health Centre on Friday, April 12, 2013 in her 75th year.  Much loved mother of Cheryl (Bill) Clarke of Mono and Brenda (Brian) Taylor of Georgina.  Special grandmother of Justin (Danielle), Deven, Trey, Natalie Clarke, Michael (Mandy), Candace Taylor, Amber and Ashley Gasparini and great grandmother of Matthew, Brandin, Riley, Logan, Alyssa, Jinelle, Degan and Jaxon.  She will be sadly missed by her sisters Sarah Hayes and Ruth McLay both of Lion's Head and son-in-law Albert Gasparini of Ohio, brothers and sisters-in-law Lois Hardman of Clavering, Verniece (Bob) Richardson of Chesley Lake, Marie McLay of Milton, Adelle (Ron) Ceaser of Miller Lake, Joan McLay of Wyoming, Merv (Mary) McLay of Wyoming and Barry (Sue) McLay of New Lowell.  Reta was predeceased by her husband Charles “Chuck”, daughter Arlene Gasparini, parents Gladys (Weir) and Charles Hardman, brother Bruce Hardman, sister Verna Shearer and brothers-in-law Clinton Shearer, Milton Hayes, Alex McLay, Bob McLay and Milton McLay.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Tuesday, April 16, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service to celebrate Reta's life will be held at the Chapel on Wednesday, April 17, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. with visitation 1 hour prior.  Interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Donations made to the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below. I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
