Obituary of Alan Eichenberger

EICHENBERGER, Alan 'Ike'of Barrow Bay passed away at the Lion's Head Hospital on Sunday, April 7th, 2013 in his 81st year.  Beloved husband of Mary Jane for  51 years.  Cherished father of Wayne (Dale) Eichenberger of Port Elgin and Kathy (Steve) Hellyer of Barrow Bay.  Much loved Papa Ike of Danielle and Nicky Eichenberger and Kyle, Adam, Brandon Hellyer.  Ike will be sadly missed by his sister Shirley Eichenberger of London, sister-in-law Marilyn Holfeld of Vancouver and brother-in-law Ron (June) Dawson of London.  He was predeceased by his parents Nellie (Evison) and Clifford Eichenberger and brothers Don, Weldon and Ken.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service to celebrate Ike's life will be held at the Lion's Head United Church on Wednesday, April 10, 2013 at 1:00 p.m.  Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital or the Barrow Bay & District Sport Fishing Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below. I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
