Obituary of Mel McCutcheon

McCUTCHEON, Melvinof Wiarton and formerly of Lion's Head passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 3, 2013 in his 91st year.  Cherished husband of the former Evelyn Bray who predeceased him in 2009.  Loving father of Murray (Sharon) of Waterloo, Dennis (Pauline) of Owen Sound, Eldon (Dawn) of St. Agatha and Carole (Brian) Ainslie of Wiarton and father-in-law of Shannon McCutcheon of Owen Sound.  Special grandfather of 12 and many great grandchildren.  He will be sadly missed by his sisters Vernice Mackie and Audrey (Jack) Tyndall all of Lion's Head and sisters and brothers-in-law Leona Bain of Wiarton, George Hellyer of Lion's Head and Gladys Bray of Hanover as well as many nieces and nephews.  Mel was predeceased by his parents Sara (Rouse) and Robert McCutcheon, son Wayne, brother Gordon and sisters Lena Waugh and Ruby Mielhausen.Family and friends are invited to share memories at the BETHEL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Monday, March 4, 2013 from 6:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral service to celebrate Mel's life will be held at the Church on Tuesday, March 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, Lion's Head.  Donations made to Lion's Head Minor Hockey Association or the Bruce Peninsula Hospital Foundation would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below. I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
