Obituary of Robert Duke

DUKE, Robert 'Bob'of Lion's Head passed away at Pinehaven Nursing Home in Waterloo on Wednesday, February 13, 2013 in his 88th year. Beloved husband of the late Helen Duke (Jan. 2012). Much loved father of Lorri Duke of Waterloo. Bob is also survived by his brother John (Murielle) of Brantford, sisters-in-law Ruth Tackaberry of Lion's Head, Fern Carter of Cambridge, Norma Jean (Ron) Pineau of Waterloo and Lenore Caudle of Ferndale and brother-in-law Murray Hellyer of Owen Sound.  He will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Bob was predeceased by his parents Pearl (Hellyer) and Hermes Duke.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, LION'S HEAD CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Friday, February 15, 2013 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Bob's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday February 16, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment Eastnor Cemetery.  Donations made to the Alzheimer's Society or the charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
