Obituary of Edward Stinson
STINSON, EdwardResident of Miller Lake, formerly of Dresden and Dawn Township. It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Edward Ronald Stinson, peacefully at Lion’s Head Hospital on January 21, 2013 at the age of 78. Ed was born on September 6, 1934, the son of the late Edward (Ted) Stinson and Blanche Wray. Loving husband to Shirley (Symington). Dedicated father to Sheril Stinson (Donald Pendlebury) of Waterloo and Edward Stinson of Dawn Township. Special grandpa to Breanna Stinson, Ted Stinson and Kirsten Pendlebury. Ed will be missed by sisters-in-law Doreen Stinson, Maxine Moore, Joyce Griffith, Joy Tapp, Joanne Symington and many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by brother Eugene (Lee) Stinson and brother-in-law Wayne Symington. Fulfilling Ed’s wishes his body has been donated to the body bequeathal program at the University of Western and there will be no visitation or funeral service. A memorial and celebration of his life will be arranged at a later date. Memorial donations made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Canadian Cancer Society or the Lung Association would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
