Obituary of Barbara Shelson

 SHELSON, Barbaraof Lion's Head and formerly of Windsor passed away peacefully at Golden Dawn Nursing Home on Monday, December 31, 2012 in her 82nd year.  Cherished wife of Bill for 40 years.  Loving mother of Barbara Fulton of Langley, British Columbia and step-mother of Richard (Dorothy) Shelson of Lethbridge, Alberta, Beth Bailey (Horst Schmidt) of Tilbury and Kevin Shelson of Windsor.  Special grandmother of Heather, Roberta, Patrick, Wayne, Sandra and Craig and great grandmother of Ashlee, Liam and Larissa.  She will be sadly missed by her sisters-in-law Betty Nantais of Windsor, Joanne Spearing of Welland, Sarah (Stan) Scherer of Simcoe and Pat (Claude) Gautreau of Toronto.  Barb was predeceased by her first husband Don Beneteau, parents Margaret (Fuerth) and Arthur Campeau, sister Rita Bruley, brothers-in-law Edward Shelson, Ernie Nantais and Bert Spearing and sister-in-law Amy Shelson.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Lion's Head Chapel, Lion's Head on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.  The funeral mass to celebrate Barbara's life will be held at St. Thomas Aquinas Roman Catholic Church, Gould Street, Wiarton on Friday, January 4, 2013 at 10:30 a.m.  Visitation will also be held at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, 5005 Howard Avenue, Windsor on Saturday, January 5, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the interment at 1:00 p.m.  Interment at Heavenly Rest Cemetery, Windsor.  Donations made to Golden Dawn Recreation Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below.  I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
