Obituary of Charles Haskett

 HASKETT, Charles Julian 'Chuck'of Stokes Bay passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Sunday, November 11, 2012 in his 86th year.  Predeceased in 2009 by his wife Joyce.  Cherished father of Laurie (James) Osaer of Guelph, Lyndon (Denise) of Guelph and Tim (Debbie) of Waterloo.  Special grandfather of Matthew, Michael, Kurtis, Amanda, Cole and Caroline.  He will be sadly missed by his sister Margaret Balfour of St. Catherines, brother Arnold (Jean) Haskett of Simcoe and special friend Violet Linyard of Miller Lake.  Chuck was predeceased by his parents Queenie (White) and Frederick Haskett, sister Marion Lewis and two brothers-in-law Ed Balfour and Welby Lewis and sister-in-law Neda Haskett.Family and friends are invited to share memories at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday, November 14, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the memorial service to celebrate Chuck's life at 2:00 p.m.  There will also be a Royal Canadian Legion service at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday.  Interment Stokes Bay Cemetery.  Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital Auxiliary would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below. I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
