Obituary of Katherine Scoble

SCOBLE, Katherine LottieOn September 2nd 2012 , Katherine Lottie Scoble (nee Reed) passed peacefully in her 98th year . Born in Combe Martin, Devon, England in 1915 she survived her husband of thirty-four years (John) Edwin Thomas Scoble and fourteen brothers and sisters. She is survived by daughter Linda Sellick of Strathroy, son Mervyn Scoble of Wiarton, grandsons, Keith and Greg R. Sellick, granddaughters Tonya Stokes, Natalie MacKinnon, Devon and Sarah Scoble and twelve great grandchildren. A Celebration of Katherine's Life will be held at Gateway Haven, 671 Frank Street, Wiarton on Saturday, September 22nd at 2:00 p.m. The Scoble and Sellick families express their heartfelt thanks to the dedicated staff at Gateway Haven for their love and care of Katherine, their "English Rose."
