Obituary of Fred Gilbert

GILBERT, William Frederick 'Fred'of Wiarton passed away peacefully with family by his side on Sunday, June 24, 2012 in his 89th year.  Cherished husband of the late Jean (Chatterley) Gilbert for 62 years.  Much loved father of Sheila and her husband Reinhardt Toellner of Seaforth, Gary and his wife Sheila of Wiarton and Dave of Wiarton.  Special grandfather of 8 and great grandfather of 12.  Fred will be missed by his sister Betty (Don) Waller of Brampton and brother-in-law Jim Chatterley of Michigan as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and his faithful companion Boots.  Fred was predeceased by his parents Amelia (Lowndes) and William Gilbert, sisters Winnifred Gilbert, Lillian Blake and Doris Dolphin, son Rick and daughter-in-law Nancy Gilbert.I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
