Obituary of Aurele Lebert

LEBERT, Aurèleof Lion's Head passed away on Tuesday, April 17, 2012 in his 101st year.  Cherished husband of Nadia for 66 years.  Loving father of Larry of Toronto, Lucille (Jace) Weir of Tobermory, Phyllis Lebert of Dundas, Pauline Lebert of Hamilton, Jerome (Sharon) of Wyoming, Vincent (Ann) of Pickering and Celeste (Dave) Lick of Kelowna, B.C.  Special grandfather of Angela, Carly, Derek, Julie, Jenna, Amber and Taylor.  He will be missed by his brother Urbain (Bernadette) of Wyoming and sisters Clara Lassaline of Petrolia and Marie Ubbing of Michigan.  Aurèle was predeceased by his parents Leonie (Dupuis) and Oliva Lebert, brothers Leo, Georges, Gerrard, Julien and Rosaire and sisters Zoville and Bridgitte.Aurèle was an Army Veteran of WWII.  After farming in the Lambton County area for 30 years, Aurèle and Nadia retired to the Bruce Peninsula.  He will be forever remembered for his true connection and love of nature and wildlife as well as his sense of humour.  The family would like to express their sincere gratitude to Dr. Harpur and the caregivers of Golden Dawn Nursing Home for their excellent care and support.There will be a memorial service to celebrate Aurèle's life at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at 2:00 p.m.  Cremation has taken place.  Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.  Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below.I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
