Obituary of Ann Bard

ANN BARDof Cape Chin, passed away peacefully with family by her side on Friday, February 3, 2012 at Lion's Head Hospital, in her 78th year. Beloved wife of Don of Cape Chin. Loving mother of Carol Bard, Lynda Bard (Allan Teal ) and Catherine (Bruce) Hosker all of Guelph, Brenda Bard (Jim Tsamoff) of Lion's Head and David Bard (Jackie Warner) of Burlington. Ann will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Erica, Matthew, Joshua, Krysta, Emma, Evan and Ashley and great grandchildren Jackson, Isabella and Leila. Predeceased by her parents Constance (Stanley) and Walter Moon, and her brother Cyril Stanley. Ann was the owner of the Cape Chin Country Inn for the past 27 years, and was very involved in her church. She will be forever remembered as a willing volunteer at numerous activities and events.At Ann's request, cremation has taken place. A memorial service to celebrate Ann's life will be held at Christ Church Anglican, Lion's Head, on Saturday February 11, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. A reception will follow at the Cape Chin Country Inn (Hwy #6 to Lindsay Road #5, continue to East Rd and turn left, continue to Cape Chin Rd North and turn right, continue to #418). Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton.
