Obituary of Gordon McCartney

McCARTNEY, Gordon Douglasof Chesley passed away suddenly on Wednesday, January 25, 2012 in his 63rd year. Father of Kristi McCartney of Kitchener and Karen McCartney (Scott Peacock) of Hamilton. Brother of Kenneth Hilliard of Toronto, Janet (Amos) Atton of Elmwood and Jeffrey McCartney of Kitchener. He is also survived by his wife Lisa of Owen Sound, brother-in-law Donald McInnis of Waterloo and sister-in-law Mary McCartney of Kitchener as well as many nieces and nephews. Gordon was predeceased by his parents Florence (Smith) and Clifford McCartney, sister Lorraine McInnis and brother Ken McCartneyVisitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on Friday, January 27, 2012 from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Gordon's life will be held in the Chapel on Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. Spring interment Colpoy's Bay Cemetery.
