Obituary of Muriel McGarvey

McGARVEY, Murielof Wiarton passed away peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Sunday, December 11, 2011 in her 96th year. Cherished mother of Doug McGarvey, Joanne McArthur and Carolyn Moohs, all of Wiarton. Loving grandmother of 10, great grandmother of 15 and great great grandmother of 4. She will be sadly missed by many nieces and nephews. Muriel was predeceased by her husband Gordon, parents Anne (Nicholson) and John Miller, sons Bev and Teddy, brother Harold Miller and sons-in-law Frank Moohs and Leonard McArthur.There will be a graveside service in the spring at Oxenden Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to Friends of Gateway or the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
