Obituary of Gordon John Cook

 COOK, John Gordon 'Jack'of Wiarton passed away suddenly on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in his 73rd year. Beloved husband of Katherine (nee McKague) for 50 years. Cherished father of David (Anne Marie Arends) of Windsor and Paul (Tammy Beaugrand) of Owen Sound. Special grandfather of Tyler, Beth and Kevin and great grandfather of Hailey and Kallie. Jack will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters-in-law Ken McKague of Owen Sound, David (Muriel) McKague of Owen Sound, Helen McKague of Barrow Bay, Donna (Bill) Arkell of Owen Sound and Norma Lawson of Owen Sound as well as many nieces and nephews. Jack was predeceased by his parents Doris (Porter) and John Cook, brother Wes and brother-in-law Clayton McKague.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Sunday, December 4, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Jack's life will be held in the chapel on Monday, December 5, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment following cremation in Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to St. Paul's Presbyterian Church would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
