Obituary of William Weatherhead

 WEATHERHEAD, William 'Bill'of Lion's Head passed away at his residence surrounded by his family on Monday, October 17, 2011 in his 81st year. Cherished husband of the former Betty Hawke for 61 years. Loving father of Vicki Moore of Owen Sound, Sheldon (Linda) Weatherhead of Lion's Head, Rachel Bridge (Kenny) of Lion's Head, Willy (Jenny) Weatherhead of Lion's Head, Cindy McLay (John) of Woodstock and Kelly Weatherhead (Mark) of Lion's Head. Special grandfather of 18 and great grandfather of 19. He will be sadly missed by his brothers and sisters John and Peter (Kay), all of Wiarton, Roy (Lucy) and May (Harold) Worsley all of Collingwood and Thelma Sharples of Campbellford and sister-in-law Betty Weatherhead of Collingwood as well as his many nieces and nephews. Bill was predeceased by his parents Margaret (West) and Peter Weatherhead, brothers Lloyd and Norman and sister Eva Wilkinson and grandson Shawn.Family and friends are invited to share their memories at the BETHEL MISSIONARY CHURCH, 18 Ferndale Road, Lion's Head on Wednesday, October 19, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral to celebrate Bill's life will be held in the sanctuary on Thursday, October 20, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Lion's Head Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
