Obituary of Ethel Haythorne

HAYTHORNE, Lillian 'Ethel'of Tobermory passed away at Owen Sound Hospital on Friday, August 19, 2011 in her 78th year. Cherished wife of Bill for 54 years, loving mother of Michael and mother-in-law of Brenda Bartlett, all of Tobermory. Special grandmother of James of London and Ryan of Lindsay. She will be sadly missed by her brother Gary (Gloria) Gunnarson of Manitoba and sisters Evelyn Gordon of Manitoba and Violet Lowe of Texas. Ethel was predeceased by her parents and brothers Melford, Alex, Ivor, Earl, Elster and Marlon and sisters Eleanor Ullberg, Vivian Carruthers, Bernice Sturgeon and Hazel Martin.A memorial service to celebrate Ethel's life will be held at the Tobermory Community Centre on Saturday, August 27, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Cremation has taken place. Interment Dunk's Bay Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to the Tobermory Clinic would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
