Obituary of Janet Bridge

BRIDGE, Janetof Lion's Head, passed away peacefully with her family by her side at Summit Place Nursing Home, Owen Sound on Friday, August 19, 2011 in her 90th year. Cherished mother of Leonard of Lion's Head, Ian of Nemiah Valley, B.C., Joye (Ben) Robbins of Wiarton and Milford (Ann) of Valemount, B.C., Special grandmother of 12 and great grandmother of 10. She will be sadly missed by her brother Frank (Iris) Greig of Woodstock and sisters Evelyn Hardman of Wiarton, Florence Lemcke of Barrow Bay and Katie (Ken) Govier of Barrow Bay. Janet was predeceased by her husband Ivor, parents Eliza (Graham) and Robert Greig, brothers Bruce, Melvin and Jim and grandson Shawn.Visitation will be held at the DAVIDSON CHAPEL, 71 Main Street, Lion's Head on Wednesday, August 24, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Janet's life will be held at the Chapel on Thursday, August 25, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Interment Eastnor Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. In lieu of flowers, donations made to Christ Church Anglican or Sick Kids Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
