Obituary of Kenneth McGregor

McGREGOR, Kenneth George (Ken)of R.R. 2 Wiarton, passed away peacefully and suddenly at home with his family by his side on Sunday August 14, 2011 in his 70th year. Beloved husband of 47 years to Linda and dear father to Cindy McGregor (Dan Garratt), Rusty (Sharon), both of Wiarton and Mike (Janet) of Proton Station. Grumpy to grandchildren Amanda, Skylar, Jordon, Joshua and Maisie. Also survived by 5 siblings, Bob (Gladys) McGegor of Wiarton, Frances Angell, Pat (Chuck) Lancaster, both of Owen Sound, Hazel Hoyt and Rick McGregor, both of Alberta. Ken will be sadly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends. Predeceased by his parents Retta (Spencer) and Alex McGregor, a grandson Alexander and four siblings, Jack, Jim, Brad and Ron.Cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at Oxenden Cemetery on Friday August 19, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Donations may be made to the Wiarton Hospital as expressions of sympathy.
