Obituary of Winnie Isbester

ISBESTER, Winnieof Wiarton passed away at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Tuesday, July 19th, 2011 in her 84th year. Cherished mother of Barb (Al) Ackstein of Calgary, Alberta, Doug of Wiarton, Larry (Linda) of Wiarton and Ruth (Al) Tasker of Burk's Falls. Loving grandmother of Amanda, Krista, Andrew, Robert, Sarah, Luke and Tammy and great grandmother of James, Dawsen, Tanner, Ethan, Tyler, Ava, Meghan, Shay, Kaela, Evan and Evangeline. She will be sadly missed by her brothers Mel (Bernice) Bartley and Alvin Bartley, sisters Elda Given, Kay Powell, Rosie (Jack) Cook and Shirley (Murray) Millard and sisters-in-law Eileen Bartley, Loraine Bartley, Bertha Marshall and Marie Isbester. Winnie was predeceased by her husband Jeff (2001), parents Annie (Lynch) and Charles Bartley and brothers Stan and Norman.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, 430 Mary Street, Wiarton on Thursday, July 21, 2011 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. The funeral service to celebrate Winnie's life will be held at the funeral home on Friday, July 22, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Bayview Cemetery. Donations made to the Alzheimer Society or charity of your choice would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
