Obituary of Stewart Baillie

BAILLIE, Stewartof Wiarton and formerly of Calgary passed away at Gateway Haven Nursing Home with family by his side on Thursday, April 7, 2011 on his 91st birthday. Beloved husband of Martha for 59 years. Cherished father of Leslie (Paul) Brander of Wiarton, Robert (Theresa) of Calgary and Stewart (Helen) of Greeley. Loving grandfather of Steven, Christine, Nicholas and Samantha and great grandfather of Ashton and Tristan. He will be sadly missed by his sister Lillias Kromm of Calgary as well as his many nieces and nephews. Stewart was predeceased by his parents Jeannie (Stewart) and Andrew Baillie, brothers Andrew and William and sisters Sadie Waters, Mae Gaul and Jean Bracken.Visitation will be held at GATEWAY HAVEN NURSING HOME, 671 Frank Street, Wiarton on Monday, April 11, 2011 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the funeral service to celebrate Stewart's life at 10:00 a.m. Cremation to follow. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Friends of Gateway would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
