Obituary of Sam Nelson

NELSON, Samof Wiarton and formerly of Paris, Ontario passed away with peacefully at Gateway Haven Nursing Home on Tuesday, March 29, 2011 in his 85th year. Loving father of Ted (Teresa) Hopkinson of Stratford, Gord Hopkinson of Paris, Ann (Jeff) Hannah of Paris and Judy (Jay) Jasper of Wiarton and special grandfather of 7. He will be sadly missed by his 2 sisters as well as many nieces and nephews. Sam was predeceased by his parents, 1 brother and 3 sisters.There will be no visitation or service in Wiarton. Arrangements for a memorial service in Paris will be announced by the family at a later date. In respect of Sam's wishes, his body has been bequethed to science. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to Tim Horton's Camp Trillium Fund would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
