Obituary of Marguerite Layton

 LAYTON, Margueriteof Howdenvale passed away with her grandson Mike by her side at Southampton Care Centre on Monday, February 28, 2011 in her 95th year.  Cherished wife of the late Joseph Layton (1987).  Beloved mother of Donald Layton, Mike Layton and his wife Maxine and Francine Patchett.  She will be missed by her 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren and 1 great great granddaughter.  Marguerite was predeceased by her parents Matilda (Gradwell) and Percy Lee, sisters Kathleen Armstrong and Nancy (in infancy), her brother James (in infancy), son-in-law John Patchett and daughter-in-law Bev Layton.  A special thank-you to Mike Patchett for taking such good care of your Nana while she was at Southampton Care Centre.Visitation will be held at the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton on  Thursday, March 3, 2011 from 1:00 p.m. until the time of the funeral to celebrate Marguerite's life at 2:00 p.m.  Spring interment Red Bay Cemetery.  Donations made to the Wiarton Hospital would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.  Condolences may be sent to the family through the link below. I would like to Send Condolences Back to Notices Home | History | Services | Our Facilities | Notices | Contact Us | Links
