Obituary of Keith Evans

EVANS, Keith Sr.of Tobermory passed away peacefully at his residence with his family by his side on Saturday, December 4, 2010 in his 91st year. Cherished husband of Betty for over 60 years. Loving father of Diane and her husband Niko Alexopoulos of Toronto and father-in-law of Shirley Evans of Tobermory. Special grandfather of Sarah and Katie Rose Evans and Roula, Zoe and Yurgo Alexopoulos and great grandfather of Avrey and Georgia-Rose. Keith will be sadly missed by his sister Anita (Irwin) Walle of Clearwater, Florida, brothers-in-law Bill (Doris) Kincaid of Alliston and Jack Kincaid of Toronto and sister-in-law June (George) Taylor of Toronto as well as many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Keith Jr., his parents and his sister Barbara.A memorial celebration will be held in memory of Keith at the Tobermory Legion on Tuesday, December 7, 2010 at 1:30 p.m. Keith's wish to donate his body to the study of science at the University of Western Ontario has been realized. Arrangements entrusted to the GEORGE FUNERAL HOME, Wiarton. Donations made to the Tobermory Clinic or the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 290 would be appreciated by the family as expressions of sympathy.
